2nd Birthday

Ainsley's 2nd Birthday was Sunday. Mandy had to share her day although we had a lot of fun. Ainsley was very cute and had fun with all her new toys. She was very spoiled, not all of her gifts are shown here but, more will show up through summer posts. Ainsley blew out the candles all on her own.

Happy May Day

I’m sure that every kid plays in parent’s shoes, but it doesn’t make it any less cute.

Ainsley is waving bye to Mama on her way out the door.

An Easter picture

We went to the Puyallup Spring fair.

This goat tried to eat Ainsley’s shirt.

We knew that she would love to see all the animals and especially the petting zoo. So of course we had to wash hands afterward.

She also really liked the garden displays, mostly the water features.

Enjoying one of the baker’s dozen scones with jam. She picked through most of them taking one bite of each. The video doesn’t show the best of it, but as she was eating the scone, she was dancing to the music.

There was a ride at the fair that when a horn went off, people were catapulted straight up on a hundred foot tall catapult. As soon as Ainsley heard the horn, she would look for the people and say “Weeeeee”

Another ride was a trampoline with bungee chords attached to a person so they could get a lot of air. She was fascinated and I think she wanted to do it.

It took us a while to get Ainsley interested in a big assembly of pieces of metal that made great sound. However, once we got her started, she loved it.

She uses her “Lambie” on her head as comfort and sometimes just a place to keep it. She is pretending to paint the inside of her shoe box.

This is one of her first smores. What can I say, she is Daddy’s girl, she loves them.

Grandma and Grandpa Frank came over this weekend from Eastern Washington. We had a great time with them. On Saturday, we took Ainsley to the Seattle Aquarium. She loves to watch the fish in the underwater dome.

This is part of the salmon hatchery. These are a bunch of young salmon that are overhead.

Ainsley got very excited about this sea otter. She called it a kitty.

If there are books in the building, she will find them.

Trying on Grandpa's hat.

Poor Grandma was lead everywhere.

And once again, we had snow. We moved here to get away from it. This year has been pushing it.

Ainsley does enjoy it though.

I have brought a few throw away sheets of 24"x36" paper. We lay Ainsley down on it and trace her. Then she colors it in.

Snack time with a coloring book.

So we have had problems with computer for so long, that I was never able to get DVD's of Ainsley's first steps out that will change. So I have uploaded the first video of that day.

The other video is of the sea otter.

Over due update

I know it has been a while since our last update. We have had some technical difficulties. We got a new computer in November. Early this year, the new computer began to have issues. We now have a new, new computer and FINALLY have everything installed and updated. So here is an update.

We had even more snow. Ainsley built her first snow man and had her first sled ride. She also liked to pull the sled. The video at the end is her watching Daisy play in the snow.

This is her TV spot.

A couple pictures from Christmas… Ya I know it is March.

Already chomping on a mango pit. This is great for teething.

She does love her fruit.

Cuddling with Mamma and Dadda and watching Curious George.

Ainsley is a very good helper. Here she is helping Dad lower her mattress. She also helps wipe up messes, picks up toys, and brings peoples slippers, shoes, and coats.

Ainsley with Mamma and Aunt Sheena.

The rest is all from toddler Gym that Ainsley and Dad go to on Friday Mornings. They have a long skinny trampoline, a pit with 8” foam cubes, and lots of foam pads of various shapes and sizes that they use to make an obstacle course. The first day she didn’t leave Dad’s side. The second and third, Ainsley has only looked for Dad when she needs help to get on top of something that is too big to be done alone.
