A couple of weeks ago we went to a pumpkin patch to pick from this years crop. As soon as we arrived Ainsley took off looking for that perfect pumpkin.
Her method was to pat each and every pumpkin that she came across, but always kept the next one in sight.
Everyone took turns following Ainsley through her search for perfection.

Finally she was caught and we were able to leave.

For Halloween Ainsley was a fairy, and one of her friends was too. They were very good about sharing candy.

This weekend Grandma and Grandpa came over from Eastern Washington to visit. Ainsley immediately demanded to be read to. Later she got a piano lesson from Grandma.

We all had a nice Halloween in the new house in a neighborhood. Ainsley liked to see the kids in costume but was too nervous to give out any candy. We hope everyone had a good time too. We are looking forward to the coming holidays. We will be in Denver for Thanksgiving and home for Christmas.
