End of summer fun

This was our attempt at a camping trip. We arrived at Mount Rainier National Park around 10 in the morning. We got a great camping spot and had a fun day "camping", then came bedtime. Ainsley had a hard time falling asleep and few of our camp neighbors were having a little too much Labor Day fun and constantly woke Ainsley up. We ended coming home around 2 in the morning. We did enjoy the day and even got a new tent out of the deal. There is always next summer!

We finally found huckleberries! We are planning on making jam!

Here are a few pictures from the Puyallup Fair. Ainsley really liked all of the different baby animals.

This is Ainsley and I coming down the slide too fast for the camera.

After a long day of fair fun.
Ainsley was being funny with the chair and her baby.

Ainsley really likes to color. She is showing her purple marker.
We went hiking at Point Defiance Park and came across a deer and her fawn.

They had trains and old logging mules that pulled logs up the mountains. Ainsley sure is small!

The view of the Tacoma Narrows from the parking lot.

Ainsley and I have a little game they play after bath.

Ainsley's Baptism

This is Ainsley in her party outfit, she was invited to a friend's Birthday party. She looked like a cute little watermelon!

Awaiting the baptism.

Kala is Ainsley's Godmother. Here are some pictures from the actual Baptism.

These pictures were taken after the Baptism in front of the church.

The rest of the pictures were taken at the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle.

As I was taking Ainsley for a walk, the girl in the red saw us and wanted to walk holding Ainsley's hand. A little further down the path the girl on the left decided she wanted to join. Her sister in the middle was in a stroller at the time and wanted to join too, so her mother let her out. She didn't want to hold her sister's hand and was upset that that was the only hand available to hold. Her mother asked if she could break up Ainsley and Sydney, who she thought were sisters. I assured her that it would be fine so everyone got to hold a hand that they wanted to and the five of us walked down the path. Sydney's Grandmother was nice enough to send me this photo. The mother of the other two tried to take off and let me take everyone through the zoo.

We got to feed the giraffes. They were so tall and had the most beautiful eyelashes.

This is Olivia. She is the only female giraffe at this zoo. She was much smaller then the other male giraffes.

It's been a busy spring

Ainsley was determined to help build the paver patio. She did all that she could.

Daisy kept up her part too.

I made sure that Ainsley took her coloring breaks.
The finished product with Grandma and Grandpa's birthday gift.
We went to the zoo with our good friend Shena.
